Dear Jayanth,
Pictures are amazing and the write up is very very encouraging for me and everyone to visit these places. I would never want to give those fisherman in orissa or Nelapattu (Nellore -Andhra Pradesh) to get back to Poaching !!
Keep up the good work !! |

Hi Jayant,
The vivid candid description speaks volumes about ur passion , its hard to find hard core naturalist in India , yet I would like to speak about the standpoint of the government of Orissa , which i am sure many arent aware off. To point about the enstuarine crocodiles was a endangered species in 70's , a project was launched to save them a meagre 300 crocodiles in 70's the latest census counts 1482 .Is this not a good effort by the department , yet no one recognises it . Did u chance to see Sankhua " a rare albino croc " ! I can give a graphic description about the concesvation programme undertaken to save the olive ridley , yet i can say all this program can be successful only be people's awareness and not by the blame game what few NGO's resort to .
Best Wishes

You are right, the efforts put in to the Crocodile conservation has been immaculate. The department has done a tremendous job on that regard. Thanks for making that point which some how got missed.
Thanks for stopping by Sitesh. _________________ Cheers,

I have realised the task of learning is ENORMOUS, after seeing the photos. I have a LLLLOONNGGGGGG way to go before I can categorise myself, as a BEGINER.
I shall draw inspiration from your work.
